The second edition of CAMUSS will be held at the University of Laval in 21-23 September 2016, in Québec City, Québec, Canada.
CAMUSS 2016 is organized by the Centre for Research in Geomatics and the Convergence Network, Université Laval, Canada, with the support of the Centre for Urban Policy Studies of the University of Manchester.
The first edition of CAMUSS took place in Oporto, Portugal in 2012, being successful in gathering a small but committed community of researchers in CA after more than three decades of intensive research on the development of these models for the simulation of urban and spatial systems to support informed decision making for different applications.
CAMUSS 2016 aims to consolidate the network that was initiated in 2012 as a privileged forum of discussion about CA and its integration with GIS Sciences, Geography and Urban Studies through the presentation of the advances in the state-of-the-art on CA and related topics.
We look forward to welcoming you in Québec.
Kind regards
Mir Abolfazl Mostafavi, Chair of CAMUSS 2016 Organizing Committee, Centre for Research in Geomatics, Université Laval, Québec, CANADA
Nuno Pinto, CAMUSS.net Coordinator, University of Manchester, UK
